Job summary

A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking an experienced Banquet Staff to support event setups, manage client relationships, and deliver exceptional food & beverage services. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of relevant experience in the Food & Beverage or Hospitality industry and strong communication skills. This role requires shift work, including weekends and public holidays, and offers AWS & Performance Bonus alongside meal and laundry services.

Qualifications

Responsibilities
  • Support the complete setup and dismantling of banquet venues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Actively contribute innovative ideas to improve banquet setups and service delivery.
  • Respond promptly to client enquiries and efficiently manage escalated complaints.
  • Experienced in leading and supervising banquet staff during events.
  • Committed to delivering exceptional and professional food & beverage services.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  • Manage and maintain banquet equipment, assets, and inventory to ensure readiness and availability.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities and tasks as delegated by Management.
Qualifications
  • Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level; Higher NITEC in Hospitality Operations is an advantage.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in the Food & Beverage or Hospitality industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other basic computer applications.
  • Willing to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Well-groomed with a cheerful and pleasant demeanor.
  • Effective team player with a high level of initiative.

Working Hours: 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm (rotating shift)
