The Chef de Partie is responsible for preparing high-quality food products within designated kitchen sections, ensuring they are ready for banquet service. This role requires strong culinary skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a high-volume, team-oriented environment.

Your day-to-day responsibilities
  • Prepare and deliver outstanding food quality, appearance, and consistency in accordance with the restaurant’s recipes and standards.
  • Complete assigned prep work efficiently and within required time frames.
  • Support the Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.
  • Ensure smooth workflow by moving prepared food out of the prep area continuously.
  • Work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment to produce dishes in a timely and organized manner.
  • Assist in checking the accuracy and quality of received food products and supplies needed for daily operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all workstations and equipment; follow the cleaning schedule for designated equipment and storage areas.
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation standards, maintaining proper sanitation solutions and ensuring all utensils, plateware, glassware, storage containers, and equipment are clean and sanitized at all times.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and applicable government regulations.
  • Contribute ideas for new dishes and improvements within assigned sections.
  • Continuously develop culinary skills and knowledge.
  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 2–4 years of kitchen experience, preferably in a fine dining or high-end banquet environment.
  • Ability to understand oral and written instructions in English.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Physically capable of performing manual labor and kitchen-related tasks.
