Job summary

Argyll Scott is seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Project Manager to lead complex transformations in Private and Retail Banking Operations. You will elicit requirements, map to target processes, and manage scope, risks and governance to ensure on-time delivery.

You will collaborate with Risk/Compliance to align with MAS and internal controls, while supporting testing, cutover readiness and change impacts across functions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst / Project Manager in complex transformation programmes (ideally within financial services).
• Strong capability in requirements elicitation, process modelling, and stakeholder management across multiple functions.
• Comfortable working with regulatory and control-driven change; able to explain 'why' as well as 'what'.
• Confident communicator able to influence across levels, manage competing priorities, and drive decisions at pace.
• Strong written communication; able to produce high-quality packs and documentation for senior audiences.
• Exposure to migrations / legal entity change / operating model redesign is advantageous.
• Experience working with Private Banking related processes will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support the project delivery for Private and Retail Banking Operations from initiation through to implementation and closure.
• Elicit, analyse and document business requirements for entity consolidation, operating model changes, and migration activities.
• Map current vs target processes (incl. controls, hand-offs, roles, and MI), identify gaps, and support solution design.
• Maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies, and critical path, ensuring delivery remains on schedule.
• Manage scope, RAID (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies), and change control, escalating appropriately through governance.
• Partner with Risk/Compliance to ensure requirements support MAS and internal control expectations (e.g. process controls, audit trail, segregation of duties).
• Define and support testing (UAT), cutover readiness, and change impacts (people/process/data/system).
