Job summary

Cana Consulting, partnering with a leading law firm, seeks a Singapore-qualified Legal Associate with 3–6 PQE to advise financial institutions and multinational corporations on domestic and cross-border banking transactions in Singapore.

You will draft, review, and negotiate financing documents, support lending transactions from structuring through closing, and collaborate with partners and clients across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Singapore-qualified lawyer with approximately 3–6 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE).
• Relevant experience in a recognised Banking & Finance practice.
• Exposure to corporate lending, acquisition finance, syndicated lending, project finance, trade finance, structured finance, or related financing transactions.
• Strong drafting, analytical, technical legal, and communication skills with a client-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Advise on a broad spectrum of banking and finance transactions across Southeast Asia.
• Draft, review, and negotiate financing documentation.
• Support domestic and cross-border lending transactions from structuring through completion.
• Collaborate closely with partners, clients, and multi-disciplinary teams on transaction execution and ongoing advisory matters.
