Job summary

Nextbeat Singapore Pte.Ltd. in Singapore (Tuas) is hiring for a production worker to operate a band-saw and assist on the production line. The role requires WSQ food safety certification and at least 1 year of band-saw experience.

You will follow supervisor instructions, maintain a sanitary environment, and ensure safety standards while handling materials. The position is a 5-day week with day shifts, occasional weekend/public-holiday work may be required.

Qualifications

• WSQ Certification in Food Safety and Hygiene.
• Prior experience in a food-related industry.
• At least 1 year of experience operating a band-saw machine.
• Familiar with food handling and processing procedures.
• Physically fit and able to carry heavy items and stand for long hours.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision when required.
• Willing to work in the Tuas area.

Responsibilities

• Operate band-saw machine to cut frozen meat.
• Clean and maintain tools and equipment to ensure a sanitary working environment.
• Follow supervisor instructions to support daily production operations.
• Assist in the production line by preparing raw materials into ready-to-use ingredients.
• Assist in sorting, packing, and labeling of processed food products, ensuring accuracy.
• Observe and maintain workplace safety standards, with particular attention to machinery and electrical equipment.
• Follow standard operating procedures, quality requirements, process guidelines, and safety regulations.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Monthly Salary: UP to $2500 (Negotiable)

Working Address: Tuas

Working Hours: Day shift, 5-day work week (Monday to Friday)

Weekend and public holiday work may be required depending on operational needs
