Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of pastry and dessert experience in a high-volume environment.
  • Minimum 1 year of kitchen management experience in a high-volume environment.
  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience in fine dining is advantageous but not required.
  • Prior experience in Kosher cuisine is advantageous but not required.
  • Must be able to rotate day and night shifts.

  • Take charge of all things bread from kneading to baking.
  • Run the baking station with the Head Chef.
  • Follow recipes precisely and add personal creativity.
  • Keep track of ingredients like a culinary detective.
  • Ensure all stations run smoothly from prep to plating.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Loaf Leader: Take charge of all things bread—kneading, proofing, baking—and ensure every baked item is a masterpiece.
  • Baking Station Commander: With the Head Chef by your side, you’ll run the baking station, making sure everything goes off without a hitch.
  • Recipe Reinforcer: Make sure every baked item follows the chef’s vision to a T, but don’t be afraid to sprinkle in a little of your creativity.
  • Inventory King/Queen: You’ll keep track of ingredients and supplies like a culinary detective, making sure we’re never out of the essentials.
  • Smooth Operator: Ensure all stations are running like a well-tuned orchestra, from prep to plating—nothing gets past you!
Who We Are Looking For:
