Contract Details
- Contract: 1 year (Renewable/Convertible)
- Working Location: Changi Airport
- Working Hours: 2 days’ work, 2 days off shift cycle (8:30am to 8:30pm & 8:30pm to 8:30am). Must commit both shift
- Salary: $2650 + Completion Bonus + Increment
Job Responsibilities
- Implementing the seasonal schedule by ensuring the relevant parties update the operational database with real-time data.
- Preparing various reports, such as Sitrep, for internal and external stakeholders.
- Manually updating Baggage Information and Flight Information Displays.
- Troubleshooting multiple, often simultaneous, scheduling conflicts as they arise.
- Coordinating with Engineering Baggage Control Room for any real time operational changes and challenges in the Baggage Handling Area (BHA).
- Ensuring Arrival Baggage Presentation performance and mishandling rate are met or exceeds KPI.
- Ensure the BHA is always kept clean and tidy by working with FM External and other stakeholders.
- Report to Facilities Management Committee for any issues with the facilities and cleaning.
- Facilitate Joint Inspections with stakeholders together with Airside Support Officers or higher.
- Close coordination with all baggage stakeholders for VIP flights and exception handling.
- Attend to incident on-site and carry out investigation procedures.
- Perform enforcement works to ensure staff abide to safety and security measurements.
Job Requirements
- Minimum NITEC with any relevant education.
- Experience in an airline/airport operations environment (preferably 2 years of experience).
- Must be on-site in the baggage handling area.
- Prefer to have Class 3 driving license to drive the baggage truck.
- Airline/airport scheduling experience an advantage, preferably with gate and baggage scheduling systems.
- Familiarity with aircraft types and an understanding of Apron & Baggage operations would be an advantage.
- Must be able to work shift and weekends (if required).
