Job summary

ByteDance is seeking a professional to lead the privacy compliance platform initiatives and address global privacy needs across a distributed architecture. You will collaborate with R&D, legal and security teams to deliver compliant solutions for ByteDance's diverse products.

Responsibilities include identifying global compliance risks, integrating privacy protection with development processes, and driving architectural evolution to address evolving requirements and technologies.

Qualifications

• Privacy compliance, data security and risk control R&D experience is preferred.
• Experience in architecture design and development of data platform is preferred.

About team The privacy and security team of ByteDance is committed to building a configurable and easy-to-use platform to manage all data of ByteDance internal systems to meet global and ever-changing privacy & compliance requirements. We provide easy to use services mainly to: all R&D personnel, legal teams, data protection teams, etc. within ByteDance.

• 1. Responsible for design and development of the privacy compliance platform, providing compliance solutions to address ByteDance's unique business needs in compliance;
• 2. Identify the compliance risks in a globally distributed architecture, combine privacy protection algorithms, security tools, development process and other tools to provide technical solutions;
• 3. Research the cutting-edge progress of compliance, explore feasible solutions to address compliance pain points, and continuously drive the evolution of architecture.
