Job summary

ByteDance Singapore invites interns to join the ByteCloud Data Infrastructure team. You will design, develop, and optimize core platform services and the ecosystem components powering billions of users, gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge cloud infrastructure and large-scale distributed systems.

You will collaborate with AI infrastructure teams, learn cloud-native technologies (Kubernetes, Docker), and contribute to platform engineering best practices while participating in workshops,

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Software Development, CS, or a related technical discipline.
• Proficiency in Go/Python/Rust/Typescript and systems programming.
• Deep understanding of Linux, networking (TCP/IP, HTTP), and distributed systems.
• Experience with infrastructure products (monitoring, logging, service meshes, storage).
• Familiarity with cloud-native tech (Kubernetes, Docker) and large-scale system design.

• Deep understanding of Linux, networking (TCP/IP, HTTP), and distributed systems.
• Experience in infrastructure products (e.g., monitoring, logging, service mesh, storage).
• Familiarity with cloud-native technologies (Kubernetes, Docker) and large-scale system design.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PaaS platforms or service deployment systems
• Knowledge of AI/ML platform infrastructure and tooling
• Background in resource scheduling and optimization
• Contributions to open-source infrastructure projects
