Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Java-based applications throughout the development lifecycle.
• Write efficient, scalable, and testable code while debugging and testing new applications and updates.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain up-to-date code documentation.
• Provide Level 3 support, focusing on software enhancements and defect fixes.
• Maintain and optimize the performance of existing software in production environments.
• Communicate effectively with management and technical support teams.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders and demonstrate critical thinking in crisis situations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a Java Software Engineer or similar role.
• Proficient in building Java EE applications, with a strong understanding of Object‑Oriented Design (OOD).
• Familiar with popular Java frameworks such as JSF and Spring MVC.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Java Beans (EJB), J2EE framework, XML, Xquery, and XSL, along with experience on various platforms including Linux/Unix and Windows.
• Familiarity with Oracle database, SQL, JDBC, and Java XML Parsing.
• Understanding of Service‑Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Java‑based web services.
• Experience with cloud technologies and certifications from major providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills with a capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
