Job summary

Binance in Singapore is seeking a senior software architect to shape major architecture components, drive enterprise-wide standards, and align technical strategy with business needs.

You will lead development teams, mentor engineers, and oversee testing, integration, and migration efforts while documenting processes and pushing architectural innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS or related field.
• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Proficient in core Java and Spring framework.
• Experience with MySQL and at least one NoSQL DB.
• Experience in distributed system design and messaging systems.

Responsibilities

• Design major aspects of application architecture, including UI, middleware and infrastructure.
• Ensure enterprise-wide design standards are maintained.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align architecture with business needs.
• Develop and implement application development plans for new or existing apps.
• Lead the development team and supervise design, testing and modification stages.
• Demonstrate prototypes and incorporate user feedback.
• Write scripts and code; install and update applications.
• Mentor junior developers and provide end-user support.

Responsibilities

• Designing major aspects of the architecture of an application including components such as user interface, middleware and infrastructure
• Ensuring that uniform enterprise wide application design standards are maintained
• Collaborating with other stakeholders to ensure the architecture is aligned with business-specific application needs
• Compiling and implementing application development plans for new or existing applications
• Leading the application development team and supervising the design, testing, and modification stages
• Demonstrating application prototypes and integrating user feedback
• Writing scripts and code for applications, as well as installing and updating applications
• Mentoring junior application developers and providing end-users with technical support
• Running diagnostic tests and performing debugging procedures
• Performing application integration, maintenance, upgrades, and migration
• Documenting application development processes, procedures, and standards
• Integrating trends in application architecture in application development projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent

industry experience

• at least 8 years of software development experience, preferably in backend or

distributed systems

• Proficient in core java, and familiar with spring framework
• Proficient in MySQL, and familiar with at least one NoSQL DB
• Proficient in distributed system design, and familiar with at least one messaging

middleware and the underlying design principles

• Capable to cope with stress, and quickly learn new knowledge
• Good cross-team communication skills
