TikTok PTE. LTD. is hiring a Data Systems Engineer to design offline/real-time data architectures for the company’s recommendation engine, serving over a billion users.

You will shape storage and compute infrastructure, ensuring reliability and cost‑effective operations. Join a team focused on scalable data platforms, with expertise in Spark/Flink, data‑lake tech like Hudi/Iceberg/DeltaLake, and WORM‑like access patterns across data sources.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree or above in CS or related field.
• 1+ years of experience building scalable systems.
• Proficiency with Spark/Flink at source code level.
• Knowledge of Hudi/Iceberg/DeltaLake and HDFS.

Responsabilidades

• Design offline/real-time data architecture for large-scale recommendation systems.
• Design and implement a scalable, high-performance storage system and compute model.
• Troubleshoot production systems and ensure overall stability.
• Build distributed storage, batch and stream processing frameworks for massive data.
