Job summary

IOTALENTS PTE. LTD. is seeking experienced Backend Engineer(s) to join our team and contribute to robust, scalable backend applications.

You will design, develop, test, and maintain backend systems using Java and Spring Boot, participating in the full SDLC and collaborating with analysts, QA, and other developers. The role requires strong Java experience (preferably Java 11–21), hands-on Spring Boot expertise, and proficiency with Apache JMeter for performance testing.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements analysis and design through development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Develop clean, scalable, maintainable, and high-quality code.
• Conduct performance testing using Apache JMeter, including test script creation, execution, monitoring, and analysis.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, QA engineers, and other developers, to ensure successful project delivery.
• Contribute to technical discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Technical Skills – Must Have

• Strong proficiency in Java, preferably Java 11-21, with a deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Spring Boot and the Spring Framework.
• Proven experience with Apache JMeter for performance testing, including test script creation, execution, and analysis.
• Good understanding of software development best practices and full SDLC processes.
