Job summary

NEUTRON PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a software platform engineer to develop and maintain a portable AI-assisted cyber security platform that unifies cybersecurity tools, AI workflows, scan outputs, findings, and reporting into a single dashboard.

You will build the backend, APIs, and frontend dashboards, ingest data from multiple tools, and ensure secure, auditable deployment across cloud environments and air-gapped systems.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of software engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python or Node.js/TypeScript and REST API development.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks and dashboard development.
• Experience with AWS services, containerisation, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with application security, container security, vulnerability management, and security scanning tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the platform backend, APIs, dashboard, and reporting modules.
• Develop data ingestion pipelines to normalise outputs from vulnerability, web app, SBOM, container, compliance, and security tools.
• Integrate cybersecurity tools into guided assessment workflows (e.g., Nessus, Burp Suite, Kali Linux, Wireshark).
• Support deployment across cloud and on-premise air-gapped environments.
• Implement logging, audit trails, access controls, and secure engineering practices.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment scripts, and infrastructure configurations.
