Job summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking highly motivated engineers to join the Search and DocAI organization in Singapore. You will build a low-latency, distributed backend powering document digitization and search across the firm’s data, leveraging Generative AI and RAG pipelines to boost efficiency for agentic systems.

You will contribute to AI domains, collaborate across teams, and drive adoption of cutting-edge AI technologies, influencing the firm’s knowledge layer and AI assistants for business

Qualifications

• 3+ years of backend Java development experience with scalable, concurrent apps.
• Experience writing multi‑threaded, distributed microservices and APIs.
• Proficiency in Python for NLP/data manipulation and familiarity with search engines.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to build an AI-enabled platform for Document Digitization and Search.
• Design, test, and maintain high-quality, production-ready code.
• Lead cross-team initiatives and showcase technical leadership.
• Develop and deploy services in a cloud-native environment.
• Improve developer productivity with Generative AI features.
