Job summary

Broadchains Fintech is seeking an experienced Senior Backend Architect to define major aspects of the architecture across UI, middleware and infrastructure. You will ensure enterprise design standards and collaborate with stakeholders to align architecture with business needs.

You will lead and mentor the development team through design, testing, and deployment, while implementing development plans and integrating user feedback into prototypes and production systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
• 8+ years of software development experience, preferably backend or distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Designing major aspects of the architecture of an application including components such as user interface, middleware and infrastructure
• Ensuring that uniform enterprise wide application design standards are maintained
• Collaborating with other stakeholders to ensure the architecture is aligned with business‑specific needs
• Compiling and implementing application development plans for new or existing applications
• Leading the application development team and supervising the design, testing, and modification stages
• Demonstrating application prototypes and integrating user feedback
• Writing scripts and code for applications, as well as installing and updating applications
• Mentoring junior application developers and providing end‑users with technical support
• Running diagnostic tests and performing debugging procedures
• Performing application integration, maintenance, upgrades, and migration
• Documenting application development processes, procedures, and standards
• Integrating trends in application architecture in application development projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent

industry experience

• at least 8 years of software development experience, preferably in backend or

distributed systems

• Proficient in core java, and familiar with spring framework

• Proficient in MySQL, and familiar with at least one NoSQL DB

• Proficient in distributed system design, and familiar with at least one messaging

middleware and the underlying design principles

• Capable to cope with stress, and quickly learn new knowledge

• Good cross-team communication skills
