RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide L2/L3 application support, including troubleshooting and resolving production issues across frontend, backend, APIs, and cloud environments.
- Perform bug fixes, code updates, and system enhancements while ensuring SLA compliance for incident response and recovery.
- Conduct monthly preventive maintenance such as system health checks, performance tuning, and optimisation.
- Manage Azure cloud infrastructure including App Services, Application Gateway, SQL Database, Blob Storage, Azure Monitor, and Microsoft Sentinel.
- Monitor system performance, security alerts, logs, and resource utilisation, and perform patching, SSL renewals, token/keys renewal, and vulnerability remediation.
- Support deployment activities from UAT to Production, including environment setup, configuration management, cutover, rollback, deployment verification, and post-deployment monitoring.
- Participate in functional, integration, performance, and security testing across the development lifecycle.
- Maintain and update technical documentation, architecture notes, system configurations, SOPs, and knowledge base materials.
- Prepare monthly service and progress reports, and document incident resolutions, RCA findings, code changes, and system updates.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, attend project and technical meetings, and support collaborative troubleshooting activities.
- Provide technical advisory on system improvements, performance optimisation, security posture, and resilience.
- Conduct code reviews and apply DevSecOps best practices, contributing insights to architecture enhancements and future system evolution.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience and 3 years managing cloud-hosted environments in Azure
- Proficient in .NET 8, Node.js, Python, React, and JavaScript
- Hands‑on experience with Azure SQL Database (performance tuning), Azure App Services, Application Gateway, Blob Storage, Azure Monitor, and Microsoft Sentinel
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub or Azure DevOps; familiarity with NetCDF(.NC) datasets is advantageous
- Experience supporting government systems is a plus
- Proven ability to troubleshoot production systems under SLA conditions
- Experience performing deployments to production environments with proper change management
- Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills
