Job summary

A technology consulting firm is seeking a Backend Developer to design and maintain backend services for web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience and strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java, as well as the ability to work in an Agile team. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 1 year of backend development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin and Java for backend service development.
• Experience in building RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as Spring Boot, Ktor, Micronaut, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs for web and mobile applications.
• Build scalable and secure server-side logic using Kotlin and/or Java.
• Integrate backend services with databases, third-party APIs, and internal systems.
• Collaborate with Frontend, Mobile, DevOps, QA, and Product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve performance issues across environments.
• Assist in the architectural design and improvement of backend systems and microservices.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with security, data privacy, and performance standards.
