Qualifications

  • Prior kitchen or F&B experience is an advantage; training provided for beginners.
  • Comfortable working in a hot kitchen environment.
  • Able to stand for long hours and handle physical kitchen work.
  • Willing to learn and take instructions well.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in food preparation, cooking, and plating according to company standards.
  • Support pitmasters and chefs during service hours.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen workstations and equipment.
  • Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Assist with receiving, storing, and handling of ingredients properly.
  • Perform dishwashing and general kitchen duties when required.
  • Work closely with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Carry out kitchen-related duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Supervisor.

Job Description

As a Kitchen Crew at The Smok Hous Barbecue, you will support daily kitchen operations and help deliver consistent, high-quality barbecue dishes in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in food preparation, cooking, and plating according to company standards

  • Support pitmasters and chefs during service hours

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen workstations, equipment, and storage areas

  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards

  • Assist with receiving, storing, and handling of ingredients properly

  • Perform dishwashing and general kitchen duties when required

  • Work closely with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations

  • Carry out any other kitchen‑related duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Supervisor

Job Requirements
