A barbecue restaurant in Singapore is seeking a Kitchen Crew member to support kitchen operations and deliver high-quality dishes. Key responsibilities include assisting in food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and following safety standards. Candidates should have a positive attitude, the ability to work in a hot environment, and a willingness to learn. Training is provided for those without prior experience. 5 days work week
Wednesday – Sunday
11:00 AM – 10:00 PM
Off days: Monday & Tuesday
As a Kitchen Crew at The Smok Hous Barbecue, you will support daily kitchen operations and help deliver consistent, high-quality barbecue dishes in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in food preparation, cooking, and plating according to company standards
Support pitmasters and chefs during service hours
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen workstations, equipment, and storage areas
Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards
Assist with receiving, storing, and handling of ingredients properly
Perform dishwashing and general kitchen duties when required
Work closely with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Carry out any other kitchen‑related duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Supervisor
Prior kitchen or F&B experience is an advantage (training provided for beginners)
Comfortable working in a hot kitchen environment
Able to stand for long hours and handle physical kitchen work
Willing to learn and take instructions well
Team player with a positive attitude
Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety
Singaporeans / PR / valid work pass holders
