About the Role

Join T1's technology team and help build the digital infrastructure that makes trading fun. As a Back-End Developer, you'll design and maintain the server-side systems and APIs that power our trading platforms, connecting talented traders worldwide with institutional-grade trading infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Back-End Development

• Design, build and maintain scalable APIs and microservices using Golang and Python
• Develop and optimize database schemas and queries
• Implement real-time data processing systems and WebSocket connections
• Work closely with front-end developers and product owners to deliver robust solutions
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical architecture decisions
• Support the development of new features that enhance trader success and platform scalability
• Ensure system reliability, performance optimization, and security best practices

Requirements

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Golang and Python
• Expert knowledge of databases e.g. MySQL, Supabase, Firebase, PostgreSQL
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and WebSocket protocols
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Deep understanding of security best practices and performance optimization
• Knowledge of caching strategies (Redis, Memcached)
• Experience with message queues and asynchronous processing

Preferred Experience

• 5+ years of back-end software development experience
• Experience with fintech, trading platforms, or financial applications
• Proven experience with real-time data handling and high-throughput systems
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Understanding of payment gateway integrations and secure financial transactions
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
