Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end solution architecture for Azure cloud environments.
• Lead technical design discussions translating business requirements into cloud solutions.
• Design secure hybrid and cloud-native architectures aligned with standards.
• Architect integrations between Azure services, enterprise apps, third-party platforms, and on-premise environments.
• Provide architecture guidance across Azure services (VMs, AKS, App Services, Storage, Networking, Identity).
• Drive security, governance, cost optimisation, automation, monitoring, and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, infra teams, and developers to align business objectives with delivery.
• Review designs, configurations, pipelines, and implementation approaches across delivery teams.
• Support cloud migration, modernization, DR, BCP, and platform transformation.
• Develop and maintain architecture documentation, blueprints, governance frameworks, and standards.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Azure Solution Cloud Architect to support the design and delivery of secure, scalable, and enterprise-grade cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and technology partners to architect, implement, and govern cloud platforms that support digital transformation initiatives.

This role requires strong hands‑on Azure architecture expertise combined with the ability to lead technical design, guide engineering teams, and provide structured solution governance across complex cloud modernization and migration programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end solution architecture for Microsoft Azure cloud environments, including infrastructure, platform, security, networking, and application services
• Lead technical design discussions and translate business requirements into scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud solutions
• Design and implement secure hybrid and cloud‑native architectures aligned with enterprise standards and best practices
• Architect and oversee integrations between Azure services, enterprise applications, third‑party platforms, and on‑premises environments
• Provide architecture guidance across Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), App Services, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, and Identity Management
• Drive best practices across cloud security, governance, cost optimisation, automation, monitoring, and operational excellence
• Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, infrastructure teams, and developers to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical delivery
• Review technical designs, infrastructure configurations, deployment pipelines, and implementation approaches across delivery teams
• Support cloud migration, modernization, disaster recovery, business continuity, and platform transformation initiatives
• Develop and maintain architecture documentation, solution blueprints, governance frameworks, and technical standards

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud engineering, or cloud architecture roles, with strong Azure Solution Architecture exposure
• Deep expertise across Microsoft Azure services including Compute, Networking, Storage, Identity, Security, Monitoring, and Disaster Recovery solutions
• Strong experience designing enterprise cloud architectures, migration strategies, and hybrid cloud environments
• Hands‑on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates), and cloud automation tools
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles, Zero Trust architecture, identity management, and governance frameworks
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud application deployment models
• Ability to independently lead architecture discussions and translate complex business requirements into practical technical solutions
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and structured problem‑solving capability
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification preferred
