Job summary

OpenTalent in Singapore is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our regional IT infrastructure team for a global logistics client. The role focuses on designing, deploying, and optimizing cloud infrastructure, containerised apps, and CI/CD pipelines in Azure.

You will manage AKS clusters, SQL and MongoDB, IaC with Terraform, and implement observability and security practices plus 24x7 on-call support.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of DevOps/Cloud Engineering experience, preferably with software teams.
• Hands-on experience with cloud and containerised environments, preferably Azure.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling.
• Experience with Kubernetes/AKS and Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, manage and optimise Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Manage AKS clusters, deployment, scaling and monitoring.
• Manage SQL and MongoDB databases, including backups and performance tuning.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and related tools.
• Implement Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Deploy and monitor Kafka/Kafka Connect in SaaS/PaaS environments.
• Develop automation scripts using Bash and PowerShell.
