Job summary

GMP RECRUITMENT SERVICES (S) PTE LTD is seeking a senior cloud platform architect to lead the design, build, and ongoing management of a scalable Azure-focused cloud platform and related PaaS offerings for secure production workloads. You will drive modernization and align with regulatory requirements while shaping DevOps and automation strategies.

You will mentor a high-performing team of cloud architects and engineers, oversee CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and container orchestration (OpenShift, AKS),

Qualifications

• Deep expertise with cloud platforms, Azure (preferred), or AWS/GCP.
• Expert-level experience designing, building, and maintaining complex CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Jenkins.
• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, ARM templates, CloudFormation, or similar.
• Proven production experience with container orchestration, including OCP/AKS, covering cluster management and service mesh.
• Advanced scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash or PowerShell for infrastructure and tooling automation.
• Demonstrated experience implementing observability solutions with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or Application Insights.
• Solid understanding of cloud security best practices, secrets management, and compliance for financial institutions.
• Strong grasp of cloud networking concepts: VPNs, load balancers, API gateways, DNS.
• Hands-on experience with CIAM solutions, Ping Identity platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, build, and ongoing management of the cloud platform service, focusing on Azure and cloud-native services.
• Architect, implement, and maintain cloud platform services, driving modernization and continuous improvement for regulatory needs.
• Oversee the DevOps and automation platform, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Manage and optimize the hybrid container platform, leveraging OpenShift to support diverse workloads.
• Establish and enforce engineering standards, architecture blueprints, and runbooks for the cloud platform.
• Champion cloud security, compliance, and cost optimization across all platform services.
• Collaborate with architects, application teams, external vendors, and offshore partners for seamless delivery.
• Mentor and inspire a high-performing team of cloud architects and engineers.
