Job summary

Dymon Asia Capital is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join the Azure Cloud Team in Singapore. The role focuses on designing, building and operating the CI/CD and IaC layers that underpin our Azure platform, with ownership of Terraform and GitLab toolchains for management groups, subscriptions, networks, and landing zones.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline preferred.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering, with significant time on Azure.
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform on Azure, including modules and multi-environment setups.
• Proven track record building CI/CD pipelines in GitLab for infrastructure and applications.
• Solid understanding of Azure networking (VNets, NSGs, private endpoints, VPN/ExpressRoute).
• Scripting knowledge in Python/PowerShell/Bash for automation and glue code.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices (SAST/SCA/OSS scanning, IaC scanning) in pipelines.
• Comfortable reviewing Terraform and CI configurations via merge requests; strong debugging skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Terraform modules for Azure, covering management groups, subscriptions, RBAC, hubs, and shared services.
• Manage remote state, workspaces, and module versioning; promote changes across environments.
• Build and maintain GitLab CI pipelines for infrastructure and applications with MR-driven workflows.
• Create reusable CI templates for standard infrastructure, deployment, and smoke tests.
• Integrate repositories with GitLab CI templates and wire deployments into Azure landing zones.
• Integrate security scanning tools into CI pipelines and define policies for blocking promotions.
• Collaborate with Security and Infrastructure teams to enforce guardrails by default.
• Integrate pipelines with monitoring and alerting (Azure Monitor, Grafana) and support cost-optimisation.
• Participate in incident response and post-mortems; improve pipeline resilience and roll-back strategies.
• Document CI/CD patterns and coach engineers on GitLab pipelines and Terraform changes.
