Job summary

NCS is seeking a hands-on Cloud Network Engineer to design, implement, operate, and troubleshoot network infrastructure within AWS cloud environments in Singapore. You will be the first point of contact for network-related issues and collaborate with Cloud, Infrastructure, Security, DevOps, and Application teams to deliver secure cloud solutions.

The role demands a strong networking foundation and practical AWS experience, including VPC, SGs, NACLs, TGW, PrivateLink, VPNs, and Route 53.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Network Engineering or Cloud Networking with AWS focus.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to diagnose connectivity, routing, security, and performance issues.
• Excellent collaboration with Cloud, Infrastructure, Security, DevOps and Application teams.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, routing, NAT, VPN and BGP.
• Hands-on experience with VPC, Security Groups, NACLs, Route Tables, WAF, TGW, Transit Gateway and Route 53.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, operate, and maintain secure and highly available AWS network infrastructure.
• Manage and troubleshoot VPCs, SGs, NACLs, Route Tables, NATs and related components.
• Configure and support TGW, VPC Peering, PrivateLink, Site-to-Site VPN, Direct Connect.
• Manage ALB, NLB, and Route 53; monitor with VPC Flow Logs and CloudWatch.
• Implement AWS security services including WAF, Network Firewall, and Shield Advanced.
• Troubleshoot network traffic and connectivity using Wireshark and other tools.
• Act as first point of contact for incidents; perform RCA and preventive actions.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver secure cloud networking solutions.
• Maintain documentation and ensure standards for performance, security, and availability.
