Job summary

InfoCepts in Singapore is seeking a Cloud Engineer to manage AWS infrastructure, ensure high availability, perform capacity planning, and collaborate with software and data teams to meet service levels.

You will implement infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation, automate deployments with Bash, Python, or PowerShell scripts, monitor with CloudWatch, and lead security practices including IAM and network controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in AWS cloud services.
• Familiarity with cloud or virtual environments.
• Experience in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with scripting languages Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Management of AWS cloud infrastructure to support applications and services.
• Monitor and maintain AWS infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Participate in cloud resource provisioning using AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and IAM.
• Build automation of infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Manage security best practices in AWS, including access control (IAM), encryption, and network security (Security Groups, NACLs).
• Monitor system performance using AWS tools like CloudWatch, identifying issues, and assisting in troubleshooting.
• Implementation of backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes for cloud systems.
• Automate routine tasks using scripts (e.g., Bash, Python) and configuration management tools.
• Work with engineers to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues in AWS environments.
• Keep up to date with AWS services and best practices, continuously improving skills and knowledge.
