Job summary

United Overseas Bank Ltd. is seeking a Junior Client Advisor to grow Privilege client relationships in a challenging bank environment.

You will provide financial advisory services and wealth management solutions to affluent clients, tailoring recommendations to individual needs and risk profiles. You will build long-term client relationships, ensure compliant advisory procedures, and maintain accurate documentation in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• University degree required.
• 3–8 years in banking/financial industry with wealth management and investment product sales.
• Strong advisory skills and knowledge of wealth management products.
• Experience with AML/KYC in retail banking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead as primary manager for developing and growing Privilege client relationships.
• Provide financial advisory services and appropriate investment solutions to affluent clients.
• Provide timely information, advice and recommendations to fit client requirements.

Job Description

• You will be part of a group of highly trained financial professionals.
• You will be trained in the UOB Privilege Client Engagement Process and be our lead manager in developing and growing our Privilege client relationships.
• You will be required to provide financial advisory services as well as appropriate financial and investment solutions and advice to our affluent and high networth clients in various market segments.
• You will provide customers with timely information, advice and recommendations to fit their requirements.
• Building and maintaining long-term relationships with your clients is a key factor for success in this role.
• Ensure proper advisory procedures and documentation while adhering to the Bank's internal policies, business processes and regulatory requirements (i.e. FAA and other related statutory Acts).

Job Requirements

• A recognized university degree.
• At least 3 - 8 years of relevant experience in the banking / financial industry, experienced in financial & investment product sales for Junior Client Advisor role.
• Strong advisory skill and possess with good product knowledge of wealth management & investment products.
• Candidates with prior experience and knowledge in AML/KYC processes within the retail banking sector are preferred.
• Self-motivated, with strong sales drive & energy.
• Possess relevant accreditation (M1B, M2B, M5, M6, M6A, M8, M8A, M9, M9A, HI).
