Investment Execution & Trade Operations – Corporate Actions

You will be part of a team that manages corporate action for a global portfolio of equity and fixed income assets. The team is vital in overseeing the lifecycle of these corporate actions, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.

What impact can you make in this role?

You will be part of a team that is an integrated investment service team that partners the business in providing services to support public markets investment.

What will you do as an AVP/VP, Corporate Actions?
  • Assist the Team Lead in managing and mentoring the Corporate Actions team.
  • Manage the lifecycle of corporate actions from announcement to execution.
  • Develop robust business relationships and work closely with peers and senior management to understand business needs and priorities. Actively manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Review daily workflows to identify and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Monitor and enhance service delivery from Custodians and Service Providers.
  • Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure the accuracy of corporate actions processing.
  • Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to enhance corporate action processing, integrating AI solutions to streamline operations and improve system capabilities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to Corporate Action.
What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field.
  • Experience in corporate actions or a related area (at least 8-10 years of experience).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong drive to deliver excellent work.
  • Good team player who collaborates well with internal and external counterparts, self-motivated, and thrives in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of leveraging AI toolkits is advantageous.
