Business Function

DBS Institutional Banking Group provides corporate customers with a full range of banking products and services, including cash management services, time deposits, access to GFM structured products and foreign exchange, our Digital Exchange, and Custody Services (both traditional & digital assets). Through our continued commitment, DBS has cultivated long-standing relationships with its customers in the region that are based on account relationship management, service differentiation, product development and rigorous risk and control standards. This position is within the Digital Assets team within IBG-Financial Institutions Group, covering a portfolio of digital asset native clients across DBS’ core markets.

Responsibilities
  • The Successful candidate will be assigned a portfolio of digital assets clients operating across the Digital Asset Ecosystem, and will be responsible to help grow this segment.
  • Deepen wallet share of the existing client portfolio and develop new client relationships based on target market criteria and a selective due diligence process.
  • Responsible for achieving revenue targets for the assigned portfolio.
  • Perform client visits and calls regularly with the aim of closing deals across DBS product/service offerings by GTS (Cash & Custody), GFM (Structured products & FX) and Digital Exchange offerings in accordance to clients’ requirements.
  • Takes ownership of end-to-end delivery to meet clients requirement.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of clients’ needs and good knowledge of our Bank’s products by working closely with risk, product & credit partners in providing suitable banking solutions to our clients.
  • Responsible for minimizing credit, operational and Legal and Compliance risks within assigned portfolio.
  • Participate in ideation and execution of strategic initiatives to bring new offerings to better serve digital asset native clients.
  • Ability to triangulate Tradfi application
Requirements
  • Relevant experience as Relationship Manager
  • Good knowledge of the Digital Asset Ecosystem across service providers, intermediaries, issuers, investors, financial services, and technology providers (e.g. custodians, software as a service, surveillance, mining etc.)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Resourceful individual with an ability to partner to deliver for the Digital Asset Ecosystem
  • Up to date with fast-pace industry changes & narrative
  • Previous experience in the digital asset industry is an advantage
