The Japan Research Institute, Limited (Singapore Branch) is seeking an Assistant Vice President for KYC Customer Due Diligence, Periodic Review in Singapore. The role focuses on hands-on KYC remediation, due diligence, and risk assessment for both new and existing clients.

Responsibilities include leading KYC procedures, ensuring regulatory compliance (MAS Notice 626), and coordinating with deal teams to resolve issues. Strong analytical skills and communication are essential.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree with experience in corporate/project finance KYCs preferred.
• Certifications in AML would be an added advantage.
• Familiar with regulatory requirements pertaining to KYC/AML (e.g., MAS Notice 626).
• Meticulous, proactive, organized and motivated.
• Team player with ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication with internal and external customers.

Mansioni

• Perform preliminary due diligence checks for deal teams for new potential deals and/or conduct KYC reviews for existing clients.
• Engage in discussions with deal teams to understand and troubleshoot issues during document procurement.
• Draw ownership structures, transaction structures and funds flow structures from client documents.
• Review and ensure KYC documents are complete and properly certified per regulatory and internal requirements.
• Perform due diligence checks on clients on external/internal platforms and databases.
• Provide risk assessments and data inputs on eKYC; validate client documents.
• Raise memos for exceptional handling and risk triggers as needed.
• Conduct annual KYC reviews/trigger reviews within due dates with minimal reworks.
• Review daily AML alerts and ensure timely closure of alerts.
• Provide support on other AML/KYC matters for reports/projects/duties.
