Job summary

HFG Insurance Recruitment is representing a leading financial services organisation in Singapore seeking an Assistant Vice President, IT Audit to strengthen its technology risk and control environment. The role will lead end-to-end IT audit engagements and provide recommendations to enhance governance and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years of IT audit experience across infrastructure, applications, and cybersecurity, with relevant certifications such as CISA or CISSP.

• Work Arrangement: Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day WFH)

A leading financial services organisation is seeking an Assistant Vice President, IT Audit to strengthen its technology risk and control environment. This role will lead end-to-end IT audit engagements, assess technology risks, evaluate controls, and provide recommendations to enhance governance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead IT audit engagements covering IT infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and technology controls.
• Perform risk assessments, identify control gaps, and recommend improvements.
• Support regulatory and thematic audits related to technology risk.
• Partner with stakeholders across IT, risk, and business functions.
• Monitor remediation progress and ensure effective closure of audit findings.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of IT Audit experience covering infrastructure, application, and cybersecurity audits.
• Strong cybersecurity audit exposure is highly advantageous.
• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related disciplines.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP, or CCSP preferred.
• Experience within insurance, banking, or financial services.
• Knowledge of technology risk regulations (MAS TRM / BNM RMiT / OJK) across Singapore, Malaysia, or Indonesia is a plus.
• Strong communication, report writing, and stakeholder management skills.

Ideal candidates will have a strong IT audit foundation with exposure to technology risk, cybersecurity, and financial services environments.
