Overview

AVL Technician (Audio, Visual and Lighting) - Indoor Attraction

Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.

Responsibilities
  • Perform troubleshooting and repairs on AV and control systems, ensuring proper audio and video signal transmission.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and system upgrades to enhance AV performance and reliability.
  • Set up and operate AV systems for internal/external stakeholders events.
  • Provide real-time troubleshooting for AV, electrical, and mechanical issues to ensure smooth operations.
  • Any other relevant duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Certificate in Audio Visual Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in AV system installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance, with basic knowledge in AV systems.
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting skills, able to communicate effectively with supervisors and other teams, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure, independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends/public holidays may be required
  • Physically capable of lifting and installing AV equipment.
  • Certifications in Work at Height and Mobile Elevating Work Platform (e.g., Boomlift, Scissors Lift, Aerial Work Platform) are a plus.
