Job summary

Fokker Technologies in Singapore is seeking an experienced Aircraft Avionics Technician to test, troubleshoot and modify instruments, components and wiring while adhering to safety and quality standards. You will maintain detailed maintenance records and perform avionics modifications with attention to regulatory compliance.

With at least 2 years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience, preferably on Fokker 100, ATR, E190 or B737/A320, you will also support base maintenance activities and

Qualifications

• Minimum NITEC / Higher Nitec, or Diploma in Aerospace Avionics.
• At least 2 years of practical aircraft maintenance experience.
• Experience on Fokker 100, ATR, E190 or B737/A320 is a plus.
• Knowledge of Base Maintenance activities is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Test and troubleshoot instruments, components and assemblies using appropriate Test equipment.
• Test electrical equipment or systems to ensure proper functioning.
• Carry out Avionic Modifications including new wiring installations.
• Complete all tasks in the allotted time frame and to quality standards.
• Promote safety within the workplace and coordinate repairs with supervisors.
• Keep records of maintenance and repair work and ordered parts.
• Carry out schedule servicing, troubleshooting and defect rectification.
• Observe Health and Safety procedures and conduct good housekeeping.
