Job summary

A leading aerospace engineering company in Singapore is seeking an Avionics Technician responsible for diagnostics, repairs, and testing of avionics components. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in aerospace or related engineering and 2-5 years of relevant experience. Candidates will engage in quality and safety projects and train for various signatory roles. This position supports timely service delivery to clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-5 years of relevant working experience.
• Ability to manage work schedule to meet datelines.
• Involvement in quality and safety improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, repair, modification, and testing of avionics/electrical components.
• Conduct POL/equipment/calibration checks.
• Train to be a work signatory (WS) and component release signatory (CRS).

NITEC or Diploma in Aerospace / Electronic / Electrical engineering

Job description

Primary duties involving perform diagnostics, repair, modification and testing of avionics/electrical components using the latest technical manual (AD/CMM/SB/SIL) revision

Manage work schedule in order to meet customers’ expected datelines

Secondary duties involve POL/equipment/calibration check on their expiry dates so as to support servicing of components

Involves in quality and safety improvement projects

Train to be a work signatory (WS), release signatory (RS) and component release signatory (CRS)

Requirements

• Minimum NITEC or Diploma in Aerospace / Electronic / Electrical engineering
• Minimum 2 -5 years of relevant working experience
• Able to read and interpret component maintenance manual, engineering drawings, technical orders, process specification, and retrofit requirements etc
