Job summary

ST Engineering Defence Aviation Services in Singapore seeks a skilled Avionics System Engineer to lead development, integration, testing and support of advanced avionics systems across our aviation projects.

You will collaborate with hardware, software and test teams, perform requirements analysis, design reviews and verification, and help ensure performance, reliability and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced defence environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in avionics design, integration and testing preferred.
• Knowledge of DO-178, DO-254, ARINC protocols and MIL-STD a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement avionics systems and sub-systems in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and test teams to ensure seamless integration of avionics components.
• Perform system requirement analysis, design reviews, and verification to validate performance and reliability.
• Lead troubleshooting and fault diagnosis during development and operation phases.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation including specifications, interfaces, and test procedures.
• Engage stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure milestones are met within schedule and budget.
• Stay updated on advances in avionics and propose upgrades as needed.
