Job summary

A Singapore-based manpower agency is seeking a candidate for a 12-month contract role to provide technical and operational support for audio-visual matters in schools. Responsibilities include maintaining and repairing AV equipment, training staff and students, and managing inventory. Ideal candidates should possess a minimum Nitec qualification in an IT-related field and 2 years of relevant experience. Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in Singapore schools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair AV equipment.

• Develop SOPs, manuals, and user guides for AV equipment.
• Manage AV inventory and asset tagging.
• Research and recommend new AV technologies.
• Conduct training for staff and students on AV equipment usage.

Contract duration

12 months contract (Option to extend another year) 1 Jan 2026 to 31 Dec 2026

Working hours

• Mondays to Fridays: 7:00am to 4:30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays except for some school events that fall on the weekend

Job Scope

Function: Provide overall technical and operational support for all AV-related matters in the school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair AV equipment (projectors, sound/light systems, visualisers, etc.).
• Support AV setup and operations during school and ad-hoc events.
• Develop SOPs, manuals, and user guides for AV equipment.
• Manage AV inventory and asset tagging.
• Research and recommend new AV technologies and solutions.
• Conduct training for staff and students on AV equipment usage.
• Assist HOD ICT and school leaders with other AV-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum Nitec or equivalent qualification in an IT-related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in Singapore schools
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication skills and a good team player.
• Adaptable and able to work well in a dynamic environment.
