Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a candidate for mechanical installation of AV/IT structures in Singapore. The role involves assembly, setup of displays, and performing maintenance. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of experience or a willingness to learn, basic AV/IT knowledge, and good problem-solving skills. Flexibility to travel is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of mechanical installation experience, preferably in AV/IT/ELV.
• Basic knowledge of AV/IT systems and cabling.
• Able to interpret diagrams and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install AV/IT structures.
• Set up displays, video walls, projectors, and cameras.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and install AV/IT structures (racks, mounts, enclosures)
• Set up displays, video walls, projectors, and cameras
• Manage cabling supports and equipment housing
• Perform preventive/corrective maintenance on mechanical parts
• Troubleshoot installation and mechanical issues
• Conduct site checks and propose solutions
• Work with AV/IT teams during integration and handover
• Follow safety and load guidelines during installations

Requirements

• At least 1 year mechanical installation experience (AV/IT/ELV preferred)
• Candidates with no experience but willing to learn are welcome to apply.
• Basic knowledge of AV/IT systems and cabling
• Able to interpret diagrams and manuals
• Proficient with tools for mounting and assembly
• Safety-conscious with good problem-solving skills
• Flexible to travel and on-site work when required
