Job summary

A leading hospitality company in Singapore seeks an AV Executive to manage audio-visual setups for events, ensuring equipment is operational and events execute smoothly. Candidates should have 1-2 years in the hotel industry and technical knowledge of modern audio-visual equipment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to work independently. Willingness to work on public holidays and weekends is a prerequisite.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in computer skills is an advantage.

Job description
AV Executive

Reporting to the Director of Banquet Operations, the incumbent will be responsible to:-

  • Handle the day-to-day setting up of audio visual and media. equipment according to the operations requirements.
  • Conduct routine checks on all equipment in the function rooms prior to the events.
  • Ensure that all equipment are tested and in good operating condition at all times.
  • Ensure successful execution of event presentations and maintain guests’ satisfaction.
  • Work hand in hand with the Banquet Operations and various departments in day to day operations.
  • To carry out quarterly, bi-yearly, yearly inventory of all operating equipment
  • Set necessary equipment in function rooms, including outdoor catering events; as directed in the Banquet Event Order (BEO)
  • To assist guests in the setup and dismantling of any AV equipment brought in for the event.
  • Assist as required with any other related task assigned by event in-charge.
  • Adhere standard operating procedures/guideline and comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
Requirements
  • At least 1 - 2 years of working experience in the Hotel industry.
  • Has technical knowledge on setting up of all audio visual. requirements and be well-equipped on modern technologies of audio visual equipment.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Proficiency in computer skills would be an advantage.
  • Proactive and able to work independently.
  • Willing to work on Public Holidays / Weekends
