Overview

At Tong Tar Transport, we are shaping the future of transportation through innovative, sustainable, and autonomous mobility solutions. We are seeking an energetic and responsible individual to join our team as Autonomous Truck(Fuso) Operator. This role is critical in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of rolling out our cutting-edge technology transport service. As an Autonomous Vehicle Operator, you will oversee the operation of self-driving vehicles on designated routes. While the vehicle is autonomous, your role is vital in monitoring systems, ensuring road safety, and intervening when necessary.

This is a truely unique opportunity to be at the forefront of transportation technology. This is a 16-month contract, consisting of a 4-month pre-deployment testing and training period, followed by 12-month deployment.

Candidate working timing will be Mon-Fri: between 9:00am-7:00pm.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor autonomous driving systems and intervene when needed
  • Provide customer service and assistance as necessary
  • Ensure the safety of all road users
  • Obey traffic laws
  • Follow procedures to ensure passenger safety
  • Communicate system issues to the technical support team
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
  • Keep the vehicle clean and presentable to the public
  • Report and record all incidences and traffic disruptions to HQ
  • May be required to work on Sat/Sun/PH, if additional testing is required (low probability)
Qualifications

Candidates should have a valid Class 4 driving license, clean driving and personal record. Candidates with their own personal transport preferred (though not a must), as vehicle will be parked in west area during the first 4 months, and in the east during the 12-month deployment.
