Job summary

A vehicle maintenance company in Singapore is seeking a skilled technician to conduct routine maintenance and repairs on tipper trucks and excavators. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience with heavy vehicles, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work independently or in a team. A valid Class 3/Class 4 driver’s license is advantageous. This position focuses on maintaining safe and organized workshop operations.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine maintenance checks and servicing on tipper trucks and excavator machines

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues on vehicles

Inspect, service, and repair vehicle and cabin air-conditioning systems — including compressor, condenser, evaporator, and refrigerant refill

Perform scheduled inspections and maintain detailed service records

Liaise with the operations team to ensure vehicles are well-maintained and road-worthy

Provide technical support and advice to the wider team

Maintain a safe and organized workshop environment

Requirements

• Minimum 2 of experience in servicing tipper trucks, excavators, or similar heavy vehicles/equipment
• Proficient in hydraulic system troubleshooting and diesel-engine repair
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
