Job summary

A technical services company in Singapore is seeking both new and experienced Automotive Technicians. Job description
Primary Purpose

Looking for New/experienced Automotive Technicians (Ex Army Technicians are ideal).

To conduct automotive maintenance and repair, inclusive of preventative maintenance servicing to vehicles.

To test and ensure vehicles are properly maintained/repaired to satisfaction.

Qualifications/Education/Certification/Licensure
  • No certification required, however AUTOMOTIVE NITEC or diploma holders preferred.
  • Valid Driver's license (Class 3) or ability to obtain within six months of hire is advantageous.
Special Knowledge / Skills

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Understand and execute verbal and written instructions.
  • Cooperative and show initiative towards improving skills.
  • Ability to work productively with minimal supervision.
Experience

No experience required. 3-5 years in the automotive industry preferred.

Major Responsibilities and Duties
  1. Perform basic care and maintenance, including changing of oil, replacing of filters and checking oil/fluid levels.
  2. Repair/Replace worn or defective parts such as brake pads, sensors and other vehicle parts as required.
  3. Troubleshoot and rectify any vehicular faults.

Note: new hires may require a Lead time of 2 months before commencement of work.
