A leading engineering firm in Singapore seeks an experienced Automotive Hardware Engineer to design and integrate next-generation automotive systems. The ideal candidate has a foundation in PCB design, system integration, and automotive safety compliance. Responsibilities include developing electronic hardware, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This role promises a hands-on approach in a dynamic environment.
Join our dynamic engineering team to design and integrate next-generation automotive vision and sensor fusion systems used in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and situational awareness applications. We are looking for a hands-on Automotive Hardware Engineer / System Integration Engineer with a strong foundation in PCB design, hardware architecture, and system integration involving sensors, cameras, and vehicle communication protocols.
Design, develop, and validate automotive electronic hardware including schematics, PCB layout, and component selection.
Integrate and test multi-sensor fusion systems (camera, radar, LiDAR, GPS, IMU, etc.) for vehicle applications.
Collaborate with software, mechanical, and system engineers to ensure seamless hardware–software integration.
Support system installation, testing, and troubleshooting on vehicles.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, schematics, BOMs, and design reports.
Conduct hardware verification and validation (HIL/SIL testing) to ensure compliance with automotive standards.
Ensure designs meet EMC/EMI and automotive safety compliance requirements (ISO 26262, UNECE R10, etc.).
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in hardware or system design for automotive, robotics, or embedded systems.
Proficiency in PCB design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD, KiCad, or similar).
Familiar with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, RS485, etc.).
Experience with sensors and signal processing hardware.
Strong understanding of power management, circuit protection, and grounding in automotive environments.
Ability to perform hardware debugging and rework using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and similar tools.
