Job description

Specific Responsibilities

• Perform routine automotive maintenancetasks, including oil changes, tyre rotations, transmission flushes, airconditioner re-charges, wheel alignments, battery installations,headlight/taillight installations, vehicle spare parts.
• Interact with customers to obtaininformation about the problems they are experiencing with their vehicles
• Inspecting vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
• Maintain workshop equipment and tools ingood condition
• Willingness to learn with hands-ontraining
• Clean and maintain the work environmentto ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety
• Provide professional advice forappropriate repairs, servicing, technical assistance and provide great customerservice.
• Arrangement of inventory and stock take

Technical Skills and Competencies

• Learn and understand range of servicesand brands that are offered at our workshop, including tyres, rims, battery,engine oil, car grooming, brakes system etc. Engage in learning opportunitiesto update job knowledge and technical skills.
• Learn to use workshop equipment and toolsas instructed including impact wrench, torque wrench, tyre changer, wheelbalancer, orbital polisher, wheel alignment equipment.
• Complete vehicle maintenance and repairworks on vehicles, such as performing oil changes, flushing and replacingfluids, brakes, tyres and vehicle spare parts.
• Manage inventory including arrangement ofgoods and stock take. Ensure that stocks that are acquired first are sold offfirst.
• Work with service advisor and othermechanics to diagnose and repair the mechanical and electrical components ofvehicles.
• To learn how to listen to customerconcerns and communicate effectively and in a professional manner to explainrepairs works
