Responsibilities

• Responsible for creating, enhancing, debugging, and running the test case together with the team or contribute individually wherever required.
• To configuring Selenium Test Environment with an IDE, automating the design of a testing framework.
• Identify test cases and create automation framework for Web/Mobile application / devices, Middleware and Services, Interfaces testing.
• Involved in the Preparation of Test Plan, Test Scenarios and Test cases.
• Derive the test scenario, test cases, automation test scripts and perform test execution.
• To participate/drive in Triage calls and articulate defects and/or project risks.
• To work under tight timelines to meet deadlines.
• To participate and support in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test data preparations.
• Be self-sufficient to manage the customer expectations and support user queries. Role

Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Software Engineering / Electrical and Electronics Engineering

• Should have good experience in Web/Mobile applications / devices, Middleware and IT Services, Interfaces testing
• Proficiency in Java application development and testing.
• Strong knowledge in SQL queries and database concepts
• Proficiency with automated testing with Selenium/Protractor/ equivalent.
• Should be able to write software test plan including automation scope.
• Should be able to configuring Selenium Test Environment with an Integrated Development Environment.
• Strong skills in analysing Requirements, Test Case Development, Test Execution, Defects log and reporting.
• Proficiency with establishing, managing, and reporting on key quality metrics for manual and automation test assignments.
• Proficiency with using Test Management, Defect Tracking, Requirements Management, and Modelling tools, including automated testing tools framework experience.
• Ability to understand the requirements and perform requirements ambiguity testing.
• Experience in working with a team of testers, and having experience in leading a group of testers.
• Support requirement analyses and estimations.
• Writing well designed, clean, readable and testable code.
• Strong analytical, conceptualization, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to pitch ideas and influence.
• Good stakeholder handling, managed difficult/demanding clients.
