Job summary

GienTech Singapore Pte. Ltd. is looking for a Software Test Engineer to develop and maintain an automated testing framework. This role involves creating and executing test scripts for various testing types, integrating tests into CI/CD, and collaborating with development teams to enhance product quality. Candidates should possess a diploma in Computer Science or related field and have a solid background in software testing with automation experience.

Job description

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain a robust automated testing framework.

Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.

Collaborate with development teams to ensure testability of features and implement test-driven development practices.

Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins.

Integrate automated tests with project management tools like JIRA and Zephyr.

Generate and analyze test metrics to continually improve the testing process and product quality.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, master’s degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.

4+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 1 years focused on test automation.

Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit).

Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#).

Experience with Jenkins/JIRA/Zephyr.

Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environment.
