Job summary

SEARCH PERSONNEL PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking an Automation Technician to support and maintain automation hardware at our Henderson Road facility. You will perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshoot hardware faults, assist in deployment and testing, and support end-users with basic system troubleshooting.

The role offers a monthly salary of SGD 3,500–4,000 (commensurate with experience), 14 days of annual leave, and a discretionary variable bonus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Nitec/Higher Nitec (ITE) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
• 1-2 years of experience in technical support, equipment maintenance, or automation systems preferred.
• Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Technical Support & Hardware Maintenance: Provide hands-on technical support for all automation hardware, sensors, controllers, and mechanical components.
• Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Identify, diagnose, and resolve hardware failures, electrical faults, and system software errors to minimize operational downtime.
• Deployment & Testing: Assist in hardware deployment for new automation projects, including assembly, wiring, system calibration, and testing before final commissioning.
• Preventive Maintenance (PM): Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance routines, component calibrations, and periodic system health checks.
• User Training & Documentation: Train end-users and operators on standard operating procedures, routine safety checks, and basic system troubleshooting. Maintain detailed logs of maintenance activities and hardware issues.
