• Design and develop software applications for automated machinery, including machine control, robotics, and vision inspection.

• Design and develop software applications for automated machinery, covering machine control, robotic systems and vision inspection.

• Assist with the installation, commissioning and validation of automation control systems and related qualification activities.

• Assist in developing electrical and control circuit designs for individual machines and integrated automation lines.

• Manage assigned automation projects or project sub-modules from development through implementation.

• Conduct machine setup, testing and troubleshooting to ensure equipment performs according to specifications.

• Provide technical and field support for automation machines and systems.

• Undertake overseas travel when required for installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and project support.

• Provide regular updates on project progress, technical issues, risks and critical matters to management, vendors and other stakeholders.

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues involving equipment, processes, materials and control systems.

• Monitor outstanding technical issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively and within the required timeframe.

• Knowledge or experience in developing high-performance vision algorithms is an advantage.
