Qualifications

• Experience in development of automation machine software applications including machine control, robot control and vision inspection systems.
• Involve in design and development of machine control software for full line automation systems from concept to on-site installation.
• Involve in the installation and commissioning of the control system including qualification and validation activities
• Assist in circuit design on machine control for full line automation systems
• Manage automation projects or sub modules within a project
• Handle machine setups and troubleshooting
• Provide field support of automation machines
• Must be willing to travel overseas when required
• Proactively communicate project progress, key issues, and any other critical topics in a timely manner to the appropriate management level, vendors, and stakeholders
• Resolve technical issues arising from equipment, process, and materials etc
• Ensure that issues are resolved timely and effectively
• Ability to develop high-performance vision algorithms is an added advantage

Responsibilities

• Develop automation software for machine, robot, and vision systems.
• Design and develop machine control software for full line automation from concept to on-site.
• Install and commission control systems, including qualification activities.
• Assist in circuit design for machine control in automation projects.
• Manage sub modules within automation projects.
• Set up machines and troubleshoot issues on-site.
• Provide field support for automation equipment.
• Willingness to travel overseas when required.
• Communicate project progress and issues to management and stakeholders.
• Resolve equipment/process/material issues promptly and effectively.
• Explore and apply high-performance vision algorithms where advantageous.
