A consulting firm in Singapore is seeking an Automation Engineer to design and develop automation frameworks using Selenium, Appium, and more. The role involves collaborating with DevOps teams to ensure testing execution and validating functionalities across multiple applications. Candidates should have strong automation skills and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
On behalf of our client we are looking for Automation Engineer to work one on one basis on various tasks.
Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium (Java), Appium, REST Assured, Cucumber, TestNG, and POM architecture.
Automate functional, regression, API, and mobile test scenarios across iOS, Android, and web applications.
Build and optimize reusable automation libraries and scripts for scalability and maintainability.
Develop automated test scripts for API validation using REST Assured and Postman.
Execute cross-browser and cross-platform testing on real devices, emulators, and simulators.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure automated test execution in build and deployment cycles.
Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects using JIRA and Traceability Matrix.
Work closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and UAT teams to translate business requirements into test scenarios.
Participate in Agile ceremonies – sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
Support multi-country rollouts by validating end-to-end functionality, regulatory compliance, and user flows.
Strong automation experience using Selenium (Java), Appium, Cucumber, TestNG, and Postman.
Hands-on experience with Web, API, and Mobile automation (iOS, Android, and responsive web applications).
Proficient in cross-browser and cross-platform testing using real devices, emulators, and cloud device farms.
SQL knowledge for test data validation and backend checks.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and use of JIRA for user stories, bugs, and traceability.
