Job summary

PASONA SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks an Automation & Control Engineer to design, implement and optimize automation systems. You will work with PLC, robotics, motion control and vision technologies to enhance machine performance.

The role involves selecting electrical components, supporting project execution, and collaborating with internal teams and overseas partners to resolve technical issues. Travel may be required for project support.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Motion Control, Control Engineering, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering.
2–4 years of relevant experience in motion control, automation or machine control systems.
Hands-on mechanical design support experience is required.
Basic to intermediate knowledge of PLC programming and servo systems.
Experience with robotics and motion control technologies is preferred.
Experience in semiconductor, display or battery industries is an advantage.
Experience in machine builders or manufacturing environments is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Design and optimize automation solutions using PLC and robotics.
Support design and development of automation solutions using PLC, Robot, Motion Control and Vision technologies.
Assist in selection and preparation of electrical components and purchase lists for automation control systems.
Participate in automation projects to improve machines, reduce cycle times and boost productivity.
Develop, modify and troubleshoot PLC programs for stable machine operations.
Support programming and integration of Vision Systems, Robots, AGVs and Servo Systems.
Collect timing data, prepare timing charts and assist in cycle time analysis.
